Being a fan of the Barbie franchise, you can imagine her excitement when she came across our Diva Diamond Ring. With a stunning pink gemstone at its heart and surrounded by a halo of diamonds that drop all the way to its shoulder, Faiza knew that this ring was meant to be hers. A feeling she positively acted upon.
There is something universal about falling head-over-heels with a certain piece of jewellery. Be it a design from your mother’s collection, or a jewel on a window display, there are countless stories of people and their love-at-first-sight jewellery. And we ourselves have been lucky enough to witness many such sparkling moments over the years. So here is one such instance that involved working across borders, Barbie core and a special surprise!
How Our Customer Got the Jewel of her Dreams
2023 was a year that was filled with iconic pop culture moments and one such defining part of the year was all the fanfare and celebration around the Barbie movie. It revived a long-lost appreciation for the franchise and let the sweet feelings of nostalgia take over.
And while browsing through diamond rings online, Faiza came across a certain Diva Diamond Ring that had just the right pink-hued elements. This ring had a sort of feminine allure and bold beauty, and there was something so enigmatic about it, that she resonated with it strongly.
So, Faiza took off to her nearest Tanishq store, excited to bring it home.
The catch, however, was that this diamond ring was not yet available in the region! But our RSO Ms. Shazia was not ready to give up so easily. She was determined to get Faiza this dream design.
In the days ahead, our RSO contacted Tanishq’s Merchandising team, telling them about the situation and how special this ring was to her customer. Together, she and the Merchandising team worked out a plan to procure this coveted diamond ring all the way from India.
With the plan starting to fall in place, our RSO informed Faiza that it would be possible to bring this ring to the UAE. On hearing this, she asked for a special engraving to be done on her ring.
As the day of arrival inched closer, Ms. Shaiza noticed that her customer’s birthday was coming up just in time for the delivery. So, she decided to create a memorable moment for Faiza when she’d come to collect her diamond ring.
On the day of the pickup, Faiza walked into the store, ready to go back with her Diva Ring. What she didn’t expect, however, was a specially made Barbie cake to celebrate her birthday and the new jewel she acquired. Pleasantly surprised, Faiza cut her cake and adorned her Diva Ring and noticed that it was engraved with the message ‘Barbie Diva’.
Needless to say, our customer went home beyond delighted and even shared a heartfelt message to our RSO later in the day. It is moments like this, that let us know how powerful the emotional significance and connection to jewellery can be! And how we can help bring that happiness to our customers.
